This page detail’s the rules, structure and how to join the KWSNI Company of Heroes League. The League is made up of member’s of the Alliance from various game’s such as LotRO, SW:TOR and Battlefield BC2. The League is purely fun, there are no prizes or rewards except bragging rights amongst the Alliance. Anyone is more then welcome to join even those that are not yet Alliance members.
League Structure
The League is broken in to 3 tables, Overall, Allies and Axis.
- Overall: Take’s all the matches played by the player as both sides and counts up the wins and losses for an overall leader.
- Allies: Only counts games played by the player as an Allied side (American or British) and totals up the wins and losses for an overall Allied Leader
- Axis: Only counts games played by the player as an Axis side (Wehrmacht or Panzer Elite) and totals up the wins and losses for an overall Axis Leader.
League Rules
- Rule #1 – Artillery on Bases
Off-Map art is not allowed within a base tile which is classed as the very first tile you start on. If the tile is very large then anything on the fringe are viable targets and this rule does not apply. Officer (Germans) and Captains (Brits) may call in Off-Map on base tiles due them having to be in direct sight of the base.If a Walking Stuka, 25 Pounders, Nebels, Priest, M4 Calliope or Howie is built or moved to direct contact of the enemy base tile, it may fire on the base due to direct contact with the base.Direct Contact is defined as any tile that is attached to a Base tile. - Rule #2 – Disconnects/Net Failure
If the Host drop’s before 30 minutes of the match has been played, the game is written off as a draw and will not be entitled to any games played, points, wins or losses. If the match has lasted 30 minutes then all players involved inc. host will gain 1 point each for taking part however, no wins, losses or games played will be assigned.If a player (i.e. not the host) drop’s before the 1 hour mark that player will not be assigned a loss so long as it was a net failure and not a disconnect. However should the player disconnect after the hour mark, he will receive the loss or if they win he will recieve half the points rounded down as well as the win. Player’s that use this to keep from losing will still get a Loss and points deducted for cheating. - Rule #3 – Point Awards
Every player that take’s place in a match will be given a +1 to matches played along with a +1 to either win or loss depending on if they won or lost naturally. Player’s will gain Points on the number of enemies they defeated as set out below.1v1 = 1 | 2v2 = 2 | 3v3 = 3 | 4v4 = 4. Loser’s will gain no points. - Rule #4 – Player/Account Names
Player’s Company of Heroes account names are used as League names and as such, no vulgar or other degrading and/or offensive names may be accepted and as such you would be effectively ‘banned’ from the league. We will attach your community name to your Relic account name should it differ. - Rule #5 – AI based Matches/Outnumbering
For an AI match to count, there must be player’s on each side. AI may only be used to balance teams out so 4v3 becomes a 4v4 with 1 AI. Point award’s a modified in regards to AI matches. Should the AI aided team win they get full points as per Rule #3 above, however if they lose, the winning team only get the points for players in the match, not for the AI teams. So a 4v4 with 1 AI results in 3 points not 4 for the winning side.
How To Join The League
You need to own either Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts or Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor to compete. You can use either a retail version or a Digital Download version such as Steam or Direct2Drive. It must be patched to the latest version. To register for the league just send a message to a KWSNI Overlord (Sannas, Vayran, Cullen or Jono) with your Company of Heroes account name so we can add you to the Relic Network Friends List within the game and get you on the League Tables. return to top
